Rumor has it that Van Halen will be reuniting and touring this year. It got us to thinking about their 1982 tour and the demands the band to the venues it would be rocking. Column Five created this infographic with Sonos to visualize what is considered to be one of the most ridiculous riders of all time (a rider is the list of amenities required by a band that the host venue must provide), Van Halen requested some items that define the phrase “over the top.”
We’re fairly certain the infamous Van Halen M&Ms rider is one of the most demanding and detailed. Curious as to what exactly the band required? The infographic below illustrates the rider in all its glory.
