Walking Dead Kicks: Pop Culture Meets Chuck Taylor

If you love edgy design you’ll understand why we are huge fans of the sports entertainment site Tauntr. You may remember when we profiled their Parody NFL Revenge Logos last year. The design minds that work behind the scenes at the site consistently create original graphic content that is just so much fun to view. They’ve done it again with the debut of Pop Culture Chuck Taylor Allstars prototypes based on popular dark dramas currently on television.
According to the site, the inspiration came after an informal poll of Tauntr staff members:
Converse Chuck Taylor Allstars might be the most badass shoes in American history (Sorry L.A. Lights, Chucks have just been around longer and don’t need batteries). As determined by an exhaustive survey of the five people in our office, we have found The Walking Dead,Breaking Bad, & Dexter to be 3 of the most badass shows currently on television. So we combined them. It was that easy and that awesome.
BREAKING BAD CHUCK TAYLOR
The Breaking Bad shoe features everyone’s favorite high school science teacher turned drug dealer, Walter White. A menacing image of White (or Heisenberg as he is known on the street) floats above a sea of his infamous blue crystal methamphetamine.
DEXTER CHUCK TAYLOR
The Dexter Converse All Star gets the blood splattered treatment befitting a serial killer.
THE WALKING DEAD CHUCK TAYLOR
True to its post apocalyptic setting, The Walking Dead sneaker appears to have survived a zombie attack or two.
The bummer is, unlike the parody NFL logos, these graphic homages are only available for viewing. There seems to be no plans to offer the tricked out kicks for purchase.

I promise to you that if these shoes were to sell at at least 50 dollars a pair, In about a week you'd make over like 10,000 dollars probably. I took the picture and put it on Facebook and got about 30 likes on it and i saw on Tumblr it's been posted and had over 1,000 notes. These shoes are penominal, top of my wish list. Please make this wish come true :(
