Top Five Handbag Ad Campaigns For Fall 2011

At first glance, our five favorite handbag campaigns for fall 2011 couldn’t be more different. However, on closer inspection they all features celebrity models, a certain creative spirit and of course gorgeous handbags.

Miss Lady Dior Handbag Fall 2011

The Miss Dior Fall 2011 ad campaign was shot by photographer Mikael Jansson and stars French actress  and singer Marion Cotillard.  Cotillard returns as the face of the brand after posing in Lady Dior Handbags Summer 2011 Campaign. The overall look of the ads are classic and ethereal.  The bag featured in this shot is the link handled silhouette Miss Dior handbag in gradient taupe crocodile.  The 2011 collection also features bags of lambskin and python in a variety of color ways, including magenta. 2011 Guess Handbag Ad Campaign

Kate Upton represents the youthful, sexy feel of the Guess Accessories Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Upton’s body conscience outfits are paired with animal prints and set against a fiery red background. This eye catching look is just right for the bold exotic handbags Guess is offering this season. In addition to handbags, the campaign also features a signature group of footwear and watches in bold animal print.

Mulberry Fall Handbag Ad Campaign 2011

Tati Cotliar and Julia Saner star in the fall 2011 campaign from luxury accessories label Mulberry.  Shot by visionary photographer Tim Walker, the autumn setting features oversized animals,speckled eggs and tree branches as a surreal backdrop for the trendy line of handbags.  The campaign has a sort of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ meets ‘traditional London’ feel to it. This theme very much parallels the company itself – an established London leather goods label that’s been turned on its head to appeal to a younger, edgier audience. Tod’s Fall Signature Handbags 2011

Italian accessories label Tod’s brought in the big guns when it enlisted A-list actress Anne Hathaway for its autumn Signature Collection campaign. Photographed by Mert & Marcus the eye catching ads feature Hathaway sprawled across the  high gloss top of a red hot car. The actress is posed draped and clutching various sized and shaped leather goods from Tod’s. Check out more images from the campaign in the gallery below.

Longchamp Fall 2011 Handbag Campaign

For their fall 2011 handbags collection, the French fashion house Longchamp brought in supermodel Kate Moss. This move isn’t that surprising considering Moss is the face for her own personally designed Longchamp collection.  You can take a quick behind the scenes peek of shooting the campaign for her new handbag lines of Longchamp in the video below.
