Missoni For Target: Top Ten ‘Can’t Have’ Lifestyle Designs

Missoni madness at Target. This week the discount retailer debuted its Missoni for Target product line. Nearly 450 items from bedsheets to bikini tops created by Missoni specifically for the budget chain store were being offered. Most items were sold out within a few hours. It seems the best lifestyle items were snapped up by speculators looking to make a quick buck, as you can still find them at triple to 10 times the original retail price on eBay.
We went through and chose the “must have” pieces from the collection. They aren’t available at Target right now, but we also checked around and found the price you might have to pay if you can find them elsewhere.
10. Missoni Puzzle Trays
Even boring, low brow snacks like goldfish crackers get a bit of perk up when served on the Missoni Stripe Puzzle Tray. Crafted of glazed stoneware the graduated serving trays are embellished with patterns that piece together.

9. Missoni Floral Rug
Taking a breather from their signature stripes, the Missoni Floral Area Rug uses abstract floral patterns and punches of color. We like how the irregular edged shape and multi-level pile add a certain “sink your toes into it” look to the rug.

8. Missoni Leather iPad Case
This folio is pretty sharp. Featuring white pebbled leather embellished with blue toned zigzags, it’s a smart looking way to protect your tablet. Bonus. Last we checked, the Missoni Leather iPad Case was still available online at Target, but that hasn’t stopped the entrepreneurial few from offering it at an inflated price on eBay.

Of the many throw pillows in the Missoni for Target collection, Missoni Loop Toss Pillow is our favorite. The ribboned fabric gives it a nice festive texture.

We are pretty sweet on this furniture set. The Missoni Sling Sectional would be a stylish addition to any patio our outdoor lounging area. Ringing in at under six hundred bucks seems pretty reasonable for a four piece set. Unfortunately, this item doesn’t seem to be available online, in stores or at auction.

I think we can blame overadvertising for what happened to the Missoni collection at Target. The name Missoni for e-bay would be more appropriate righ now.
Eventually, those people won't be able to sell all those overpriced items on e-bay and having their money tied up in it will start returning stuff back to Target and hopefully then I will be able to buy something for myself

I don't even know what to think of this …. BUT… Missoni for Target it now showing up at 'Goodwill' stores… and yes, brand new. That zig zag print ottoman you show up there… I just bought one at one of my local Goodwill's for $34.99!!!!!!!!!!! They had like 6 ottoman's there. I'm serious. They are getting some of the Missoni for Target items. The other day I bought a Queen size Missoni for Target comforter set still in the bag all brand new for $34.99 also. ………… I feel lucky. And I love the items. But I don't understand why Goodwill is getting items that it SEEMS Target didn't make available to customers ???? C. Lewis of Huntington Beach, CA

I ordered the patio furniture back in September, the website claimed that it was still available for purchase. two months later, I received an email, stating that the order had been cancelled. several phone calls later, this very disappointed customer came to realize that I was never going to receive this fabulous patio furniture. what a tease. and back to square one of finding the perfect patio furniture for my dock. Target, I feel very let down :( if you were not intending to produce this particular item, you should NEVER have advertised it.
