Instead of playing “Taps” for these salvaged trumpets, figurative-industrial designer Christopher Locke turned them into ingenious amplification devices for the iPhone and iPod. Built to amplify and direct music being played through portable telephone/music playing devices Locke’s rehabbed speakers use no external power source.
