Diet Coke is Fashionable Again This Summer

Pony tailed fashion guru Karl Lagerfeld has designed a new series of limited edition Diet Coke bottles. Upping the ante from last year’s single offering, this summer his famous silhouette will appear on three pink, white and black designs.
The collaboration is really not that surprising. Sort of like an upscale Jared for Subway, the man credited with the turn around of venerable fashion house Chanel, Lagerfeld famously lost 90 pounds on a regimen of Diet Coke and steamed vegetables a few years back. To this day he credits his slimmed down frame to drinking copious amounts of Diet Coke. The new bottles will be on the shelves of specialty stores starting June 2011.
