Oscar Tag: Banksy Leaves His Mark on Southern California

Academy Award nominee and elusive British street artist Banksy has been leaving his mark all over Southern California.  Speculation is he’s in town to promote  his academy award nominated documentary film, Exit Through the Gift Shop.

When part of your shtick is being anonymous, you have to get creative when publicizing your work.  The film has already received tons of recognition but we’ll have to wait until Sunday to find out if he gets the Oscar nod.  In the meantime, Los Angeles and San Diego are his urban canvas of choice.
