40 Vintage ‘Bad Girl’ Movie Posters
By Diana Cook

The archetypal ‘Bad Girl’ has been used to sell movie tickets since the dawn of cinema. Lusty poses, ample cleavage and cat fights, we’ve gathered 40 images celebrating the classic camp style of movie advertising.
While the visuals are intriguing, a special nod should be given to the copy writers for gems like “They gave her a bad name…. and she lived up to it!” -Pickup (1951) , “Out to get every thrill they could Beg, Buy or Steal” – Three Bad Sisters (1955) and “Born good with a desire to be bad” -Teenage Bad Girl (1957). Most of these posters are available for purchase at filmposter.com with classic titles, like Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!(1965) fetching thousands of dollars for an original.
