The Pioneers of American Industrial Design stamps honor the design minds that helped shape the look of the 20th Century. Images after the jump.
Available through the USPS in July 2011, the series includes works by Frederick Hurten Rhead, Walter Dorwin Teague, Norman Bel Geddes, Raymond Loewy Donald Deskey, Gilbert Rohde, Greta von Nessen, Russel Wright, Henry Dreyfuss, Peter Müller-Munk, Dave Chapman, Eliot Noyes. Select objects created by these 12 notable industrial designers are featured. Each stamp includes the designer’s name, the type of object, and the year or years when the object was created.
