Star Wars Meets Akira Kurosawa: Samurai Wars

What would a Star Wars movie directed by legendary film maker Akira Kurosawa look like? If you are geek worth his/her salt, you’ve probably given it more than a passing thought. While sadly, an actual big screen collaboration between Lucas and Kurosawa isn’t possible, thanks to super talented artist/sculptor Silof you can at least see what the action figures from the movie would look like.
Samurai Wars is a line of custom figurines created by using a 2 part epoxy polymer sculpting compound and parts of existing toys. Silof paints and details with a dry-brushing and washing technique, but I can’t tell you much more as the final finishes Silof uses to brings his amazing reimagined figurines to life he has smartly decided to keep under wraps.
