Leather Copenhagen Chair By Timothy Oulton Leather Copenhagen Chair By Timothy Oulton

This rather inviting 1950s Leather Copenhagen Chair from London antiques dealer and furniture reproductionist Timothy Oulton can be tracked down at your nearest Restoration Hardware. This definitely looks like a chair you can get things accomplished in. It’s one of those chairs where I envision someone sitting and smoking a rather large cigar. I enter the room only to glimpse his or her arm behind the massive chair; they turn, with a devilish smile. Something is up! Yes, it’s that type of chair.

The concept is a fresh reproduction of modern Danish design of the 1950s. Wrapped in supple, hand-distressed leather for vintage appeal, the chair, oh yes, swivels 360 degrees for cozy reading or assorted mischevious behavior.  [via cool material]
