Ski In Style: Zai for Bentley Supersport Skis

A design collaboration between Bentley Motors and Swiss firm Zai, the Zai for Bentley Supersport Skis are handmade in Switzerland and produced beautifully with a blend of carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic (known as “Zaiìra”), natural rubber and chrome steel. The ski poles also incorporate a new technology, ExoGrid, used solely for the first time in the Bentley skis.
Billed as ‘one-of-a-kind,’ the skis will be part of a limited edition of 250 numbered pairs. The price? €6,800 EUR, $9,800 or £5,900. Those numbers shouldn’t be a shock considering the fifth word in this write-up is ‘Bentley.’ [via selectism]
