Shi Jinsong’s Baby Carriage With Attitude
By Jeffrey Hyatt
If there were a Terminator movie produced strictly for babies, Shi Jinsong’s hell-bent-for-battle baby carriage would be in it. Part of Jinsong’s work on display at the China – Contemporary Revival exhibition in Milan, Italy (Dec. 11 – Feb. 7, 2010), the menacing-looking baby carriage is produced with (cold, hard) stainless steel and based on Jinsong’s complex drawings.
The baby carriage is part of the Na Zha series, which encompasses all of Jinsong’s scary baby products; they include a deadly carriage; a sadistic cradle; a sinister walker; and a malicious toy complete with needle-tipped pacifiers and dismembering abacus. Ideal for the over-over-over protective parent. [via designboom]
