KLM’s New WB-1010 Aircraft Looks Like Giant Blimp
By AlexIon
Designer Reindy Allendra has envisioned a brilliant new aircraft that, if proven flight-worthy, could revolutionize travel. Inspired by a blue whale, the KLM WB-1010 looks like a giant blimp with supersonic engines in the back. Capable of carrying 1500 people at a max speed of 620mph, the futuristic aircraft comes with “smart glass” windows and a helium-injected body to maintain a light weight factor. While just a concept, we doubt the WB-1010 has the capability of flight, let alone production. [via IDS]
