Industrial designer Gabriele Meldaikyte is trying to make a little difference for the disabled with her One-Hand kitchen device. An innovative concept with a versatile design, the single hand cook was meant to allow those with only one good hand to peel, slice, cut and overall prep work in a matter of seconds. The compact workstation comes with gripping pins for fruits or vegetables and non-slip rubbers to make everything more stable. Although it looks like a functional piece of equipment, we can’t help wonder who’ll do the cleaning if there’s only one hand to count on. [via Yanko]
