Top Gear’s Star James May Building a Real Lego House

Bristol-born James May is renowned for producing and co-presenting one of Britain’s most viewed television shows. What you probably didn’t know about Top Gear’s star is that he has a passion for Lego bricks. “Captain Slow” is getting help from more than 1,200 people to build the two-story home of his dreams in the middle of the Denbies Wine Estate, in Dorking, UK– and entirely out of Lego. Part of the BBC series James May’s Toy Stories, the house will be built from more than 3 million Lego pieces with Lego furniture and even a flushing Lego lavatory. Upon completion the TV star has vowed to live in when it is finished. [via DesignBoom]
