Plywood Vehicle Is Eco-Friendly, Not Necessarily People-Friendly
By Chris Weiss
Designed by Jonathan Henshall, this plywood car brings a distinct update to the classic “woodies” of years past. The vehicle’s body is composed of lightweight plywood and degradable impregnated fabric coverings atop a metal frame and rubber wheels. The interior is highly user-configurable, which is good, since there appears to be a total lack of motor. Perhaps one could move a few seats around and stick a motor in himself, assuming he’s not petrified of taking it out onto the streets–it looks like it’d hold up about as well as an eggshell in a fender-bender. Perhaps it’s best kept in the safety of the garage to show-off to company. [via Yanko]

might make a great three wheel vehicle and not be required to be crash tested.
