Sculpture-like Poland Home Showcases Art, Raw Design

A combination of raw and finely hued design elements have been combined for an open-air home that serves as a gallery-space for its art collector owners. Designed by Marek Rytych Architekt, the three-story Warsaw, Poland home is clad with pine paneling and zinc sheet metal and rests on concrete terraces spread throughout the uneven lot. The zinc repeats inside the home, where it is met with brick, warm wood flooring and granite countertops. The gallery-like second floor is almost completely open, with only a thin screen separating it from the kitchen and staircase, which ascends into private bedroom spaces. [via archdaily]
