A client desiring a lush, vibrant gardens turned to Suppose Design Office to transform an urban Japanese home into an indoor oasis of green growth. Built on a narrow, “less than ideal” lot and dwarfed by neighboring houses and structures, the starkly white Nagoya home welcomes light inside to a glass-enclosed “garden room” central to the two-story home. On a bed of smooth river rocks and square pavers, the minimalistic garden is dynamic, changing the mood of the home with the season and arrangement of plants. [via dezeen]
