Bang and Olufsen’s BeoTime Alarm Clock
Jul 16, 2009 - By Jared Newman
The stylish gadgeteers at Beng & Olufsen have created an alarm clock that’s quite dangerous for avid snoozers. The flute-like BeoTime needs only a gentle touch to give you 10 more minutes of rest, thanks to built-in accelerometers instead of a snooze button. For everyone else, the BeoTime is an interesting visual take on an alarm clock, comprised of three square displays on an aluminum tube. Owners of other Beng & Olufsen equipment will get the best use out of the BeoTime, as it syncs wirelessly to audio sources around the house, triggering them when it’s time to wake up. As expected with any B&O product, the BeoClock costs a pretty penny: $375 when it’s released in August. [via DVice]
