Darcons Corporate HQ By Arquitectura En Proceso
Jun 22, 2009 - By Joe Wertz
Stacking and staggering a trio of orthogonal volumes, designers at Mexico’s Arquitectura en Proceso have created a business headquarters both transparent to and complimentary of its surrounding landscape. Built as the suburban home base of developers Darcons, the Delicias City building has a partially glazed exterior and a western façade shaded by concrete walls. Looking at the building dead on, it’s aligned with the road and appears as an arched entrance to a medieval city. Inside looking out, the new offices offer impressive views of nearby fields. The building is divided into “slices,” which dimensionally reflects the company’s hierarchy and links private and group-use spaces. [via deezeen]
