B-Touch Braille Mobile Phone Concept

Designer Zhenwei You has created a way for blind people to communicate with their loved ones by using a special mobile phone. The B-Touch is a fairly standard handset that boasts a touch “screen” display using Braille, thanks to the innovative combination of blind touchscreen technologies and a heavy duty voice recognition system. With a futuristic design, a navigational system, an e-book reader and an object recognizer, the Braille mobile concept looks like a functional addition for people who can’t see. [via Yanko]
