Jeppe Hein’s Loop Bench at Art Basel

For the Art Basel exhibition in Switzerland, artist Jeppe Hein has created a twisted fun bench as an exhibit of his own. Derived from the basic form of a standard park bench on steroids, the sculptural Loop Bench has feet, a space to sit, a back to lean and a slide to play on. But apart from being a functional installation,  it’s also an engaging piece of art that captures the eye with its own sculptural quality and the mazy structure.
