		<description>Hmm.. It is nice to see that you have taken the pain to compile this list.. Art theft is sad but nothing new.. Anyways my favorite is the picture - &quot;J.M.W. Turner&#8217;s &#8220;Light and Colour&#8221;  and I found myself gawking at this picture.. this one is awesome, breathtaking.. I feel really sorry when I realize that whoever steals these will never understand the actual value of these pictures.. :-( </description>

In Belgium the most famed art theft is the theft of the just judges panel from the Ghent Altarpiece (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Just_Judges). Even recently someone claimed to know the whereabouts of the panel. </description>
