Contemporary, but cozy, the interior of the Apartment at Westwood embraces warm materials and a simple layout that lets light mix and mingle as easily as its Singapore residents. A concept by Melbourne design outfit K2Ld, planners made wise use of open space, natural materials and minimal fixtures. The furniture is simple and low, which interacts with warm wood flooring throughout the house. A slight departure from the rest of the apartment, bathroom and kitchen spaces are appropriately clean and cool and utilize steel, slate and darker wood accents. [via contemporist]
