Playa La Isla Beach Home By Juan Carlos Doblado

An abstract Peruvian home, this beachfront residence was built to illustrate a connection between man and nature, structure and surrounding. Bordered by a vast desert and an expansive ocean, architect Juan Carlos Doblado started with a sunken concrete courtyard and built out, adding a terraced roof that draws eyes upward towards the sky and horizontally towards the Playa La Isla. The home is open and sparsely outfitted with sleek contemporary fixtures and modern furniture accents. [via archdaily]
