High-tech Water Logo Replenishes And Refreshes
By Joe Wertz
When droplets of water reach a certain size, they are wicked away from the surface of this high-tech, Japanese material. The coated Monert fibers create a visually stunning logo display by Hara Design Institute and Atelier Omoya, which is in a constant state of drip and renewal. When the beads of water reach a certain size on the logo text, gravity helps roll them down the sloped surface of the display. Friction between the water and the space-age fabric elongates the droplets’ tails into comet-like streaks. [via designbloom]
