Disappearing Act: Madrid Architecture Offices
Tuesday, May 5, 2009 3:00PM - By Joe Wertz

Partially embedded in the leaf-lined floor of a woody patch in Madrid, the walls barricading the world from designers disappears within the transparent tube office of Spanish architect Selgas Cano. Half the office is comprised of a full-length glass window, and being slightly buried both helps the building become a part of the woods and insulates the structure, cutting down on heating and cooling costs.
