Manchester artist Andrew Brooks uses his camera like a paintbrush. Taking hundreds of photos of a particular scene, he later rebuilds the landscape by cutting and pasting the photos into a re-imagined setting. The result a dreamy and surreal portraits of urban skylines and organic country horizons that imbues the spirit of the scene, but runs parallel to the reality of the captured image thanks to Brooks’ unique viewpoint.
