Herr Fritz Träumer And His Wild Adidas Dream

All Day I Dream About Sneakers is a project inspired by the creeds given to Adidas Originals — “Celebrate Originality” and “Impossible is Nothing.” Nine original shoes were created for the project, each with a bold back-story and theme played out in leather and laces by a mythical sneaker freak, Herr Fritz Träumer — a fictional character created by Dimitri Kalagas and Chris Cook.

Consumed by his love for shoes, the storied Träumer dreamed beyond the athletic and utilitarian roots of the sneaker and created otherworldly, dreamlike designs that transcend mortal footwear. The shoes and Träumer’s “journals” are making the rounds in a limited edition book, posters and window displays throughout Australia and New Zealand. [via behance]
