Built to link a series of specific spaces, this 3,000 square-foot Sao Paulo house is was designed by architect Affonso Risi to serve as a substantial, multi-use residence. The ground floor is elevated from the street and hosts the garage, studio and workspace. Central to the ground floor is a reinforced concrete staircase, which shelters a small pool. Upstairs is the kitchen, family room and three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms and a home office open to a garden and the stairs lead to a solarium space nestled above the kitchen. [via archdaily]
