Tamizo Architects’ H-house Fills Restricted Space

Another well-executed exercise in building around strict local zoning laws, Tamizo Architects’ H-house is both modern and modest. Restricted to only three materials for the home’s exterior, the three-story Pabianice, Poland, home was designed around a sleek, neutrally colored box for a young and active couple. The ground floor “day area” houses the living room, dining room, kitchen and a bathroom, while an upstairs “night area” hosts a pair of bedrooms and a large bathroom, wardrobe and library. A third space, the “relax/fitness” area, has two patios and a large open space for workouts and an adjoining bathroom and sauna. [via plusmood]
