Shoal Light Sculpture, the Art of Hanging Fishes

Dominic Bromley and his wife Frances, the creative duo behind the Scabetti design firm, have created a brilliant lighting design concept inspired by ocean life. The Shoal Light uses a number of small, finely cast, translucent bone china fishes suspended from a ceiling fixture that “swim” together as a school of light. A cool and contemporary alternate to mundane looking lamps, the Shoal Light not only plays with the marine theme, but also with lighting and ceramic art for amazing patterns and shadows.
