When buyers and elite fashion press assemble to view the latest Escada collections each season, they gather at the luxury brand’s new Munich headquarters, a striking structural showcase completed in 2008. Michigan native, Kansas State University grad and Louis Vuitton Architecture Department cofounder Eric Carlson designed the studio for his Paris-based Carbondale architecture outfit. Based around three primary spaces — an entry court, lobby and interior courtyard — which are centered around a 225 foot-long runway that runs the entire length of the German building.
